HTC Wing

The HTC Wing

HTC Wing on T-Mobile

After lots of looking and researching other models around town and the internet, I broke down and decided to switch platforms again after finally getting comfortable with BlackBerry. I was pleasantly surprised with this great piece of hardware even though it runs on a Windows platform. Actually, the Windows Mobile 6 operating system that powers this thing is quite remarkable. Some other close competitors out there run WM5 and this is one of the few that actually run WM6 out of the box. Another great surprise was the vast software available out there on the internet and most of it for FREE. You can find a lot of good stuff HERE to download for your mobile device. As a matter of fact I found a few great ones to load up and test out on my Wing.

Accessories

If you look at the picture above you will find that I have even loaded a Nintendo Emulator on my phone. It plays all the standard ROMs that you would normally load up on your PC for game playing. That is just one of the many thing things out there for the loading. Another great utility I found, BT Audio, allows me to port out all audio to my blue-tooth speaker phone (also pictured above) or any blue-tooth headset that you have available.
A few other devices pictured above are the Jabra blue-tooth headphones and a great little cable I found at a local wireless shop. This cable allows me to use the MP3 player functionality on my phone and broadcast it to any standard headphones or speakers. I will continue this entry very soon.
